Which plan should I start with?
Owner-operators can start with Free to try the core workspace. Starter is the best paid starting point for independent dispatchers and one-to-five truck operations that need assisted import, route previews, and AI explanations. Pro is better for small carriers or active dispatch teams that need full lane history, return-home planning, and higher limits.
Does Freight Pilot replace my load board?
No. You keep finding loads wherever you already work. Freight Pilot helps decide which loads are worth running and how they fit together.
Is the Network Directory included?
Yes. The Network Directory is currently available to all users so carriers, dispatchers, brokers, and shippers can discover useful freight relationships. Contact details may require sign-in, and verification badges are informational only.
Are Operations and Fleet & Costs included?
Yes. Signed-in accounts can use Fleet & Costs and Operations as core workflow modules, including Free users. Paid plans currently expand limits and advanced planning, import, routing, AI, and intelligence features rather than licensing those modules separately.
Can I store rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, and receipts?
Yes. Freight Pilot includes contextual document storage for Operations and Fleet & Costs so signed-in users can attach common PDFs and images to loads, trucks, drivers, and fleet companies. Files are scanned before preview or download.
Can I preview documents without downloading them?
Yes. Supported PDFs and images can open in a Freight Pilot preview modal through secure short-lived links after the file passes the document safety checks.
Can I use Freight Pilot with one truck?
Yes. The free workspace is meant to stay useful for one-truck setup, basic planning, and operations tracking. Paid plans make more sense when the workflow is repeated across dispatch work, imports, route previews, AI explanations, or multiple trucks.
Do you offer military or first responder discounts?
Yes. We offer a 20% discount for active or retired military and first responders. Contact support@freightpilotapp.com to verify eligibility and apply the discount.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Freight Pilot subscriptions have no long-term contract and no cancellation fee. Canceling stops future renewals, and access follows the billing terms shown during checkout.
How are payments handled?
Checkout, payment methods, invoices, discounts, and subscription changes are handled through Clerk Billing with Stripe payment processing. Freight Pilot does not store full card numbers.
Are refunds guaranteed?
Refund requests are reviewed case by case and are not guaranteed unless required by law. Contact support if a billing issue needs review.
