Freight Pilot
Terms of Use
Last updated: May 26, 2026
Acceptance
By creating an account or using Freight Pilot, you agree to use the service responsibly and in accordance with these terms. If you are using Freight Pilot on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
Decision Support Only
Freight Pilot is a decision-support and planning tool. It does not dispatch trucks, book freight, negotiate rates, provide legal, financial, tax, insurance, safety, or compliance advice, guarantee profit, guarantee route feasibility, or replace your professional judgment. Route previews are planning visuals, not turn-by-turn truck navigation. You are responsible for verifying rates, appointments, broker terms, equipment fit, safety, hours of service, truck routing, road restrictions, tolls, weather, parking, traffic, compliance, and final dispatch decisions.
Your Responsibilities
- Use accurate information where possible and verify important planning assumptions before acting.
- Upload, paste, import, or enter only data you own, control, or are expressly authorized to use with Freight Pilot.
- Review and comply with any load board, broker, customer, employer, marketplace, TMS, confidentiality, or data-provider rules that apply to the data you bring into Freight Pilot.
- Protect your account credentials and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, rate limits, security controls, or access another user's data.
- Submit Network Directory listings only for companies you are authorized to represent, and keep public-facing listing information accurate.
- Do not use Freight Pilot for unlawful, unsafe, deceptive, or abusive activity.
Data You Bring
You are solely responsible for the load, rate, lane, broker, contact, market, customer, and operational data that you enter, paste, upload, import, or process through Freight Pilot. By bringing data into Freight Pilot, you represent that you have all rights, permissions, consents, and authority needed to use that data in Freight Pilot for planning, analysis, lane history, assisted import, route explanations, and related account features.
Third-Party Platforms
Freight Pilot does not grant you rights to use data from any third-party platform, marketplace, load board, data provider, broker system, shipper portal, TMS, or other service. You are responsible for determining whether another service's terms allow you to copy, export, upload, analyze, store, or otherwise use its data in Freight Pilot. If your use of third-party data requires permission, written approval, an API agreement, or a commercial partnership with that third party, you must obtain it before using that data in Freight Pilot.
Prohibited Data Use
- Do not use Freight Pilot to scrape, crawl, automate extraction from, bypass limits on, or bulk-copy data from a third-party service unless you are expressly authorized to do so.
- Do not upload or process data in Freight Pilot if doing so would violate a third-party contract, platform rule, confidentiality duty, intellectual property right, privacy right, or applicable law.
- Do not use Freight Pilot to redistribute, resell, publish, expose, or create unauthorized shared datasets from third-party data.
- Do not use Freight Pilot to build, train, or improve a competing dataset, model, product, or service using data you are not authorized to use for that purpose.
Network Directory
The Freight Pilot Network Directory is a reviewed relationship-discovery feature for carriers, dispatchers, brokers, shippers, and related freight businesses. Freight Pilot may approve, reject, edit, archive, or remove listings at its discretion. A listing, verification badge, broker credit-check tag, or carrier tag is informational only and does not mean Freight Pilot endorses, guarantees, insures, or is responsible for that company, its services, creditworthiness, authority, safety record, contracts, or performance. Users remain responsible for their own due diligence before doing business with any listed company.
Estimated Results
Planner results, lane scores, mileage estimates, geocoding, fuel-cost estimates, AI explanations, and route comparisons are estimates based on available inputs and current product logic. Actual mileage, road routing, wait time, expenses, tolls, fuel prices, rates, market conditions, service availability, and operational outcomes may vary. Baseline market profiles, reload outlooks, and network signals are directional planning aids, not live market guarantees. You should verify important details before accepting, dispatching, or running a load.
Accounts And Access
We may change, suspend, or limit access to the service when needed for security, abuse prevention, product maintenance, legal compliance, or violation of these terms. Early-access features, founder access, trial access, and plan limits may change as the product develops.
Plans, Billing, And Usage Limits
Freight Pilot offers free, trial, founder-access, and paid subscription plans. Features, usage limits, route-estimation access, AI access, assisted import, imports, lane history, saved results, and other capabilities may vary by plan. Checkout, subscription management, payment methods, invoices, discounts, renewals, and cancellations are handled through Clerk Billing with Stripe payment processing. Subscription details, renewal terms, taxes, and discounts are shown during checkout, in account billing surfaces, or in plan materials. Freight Pilot may change plan features, limits, prices, or packaging for future billing periods with reasonable notice where required.
Payment Processing And Card Data
Freight Pilot does not intentionally collect or store full credit-card or debit-card numbers on its own systems. Payment information is submitted to and processed by third-party billing and payment providers such as Clerk and Stripe. Those providers are responsible for the payment-card handling and related payment security controls they provide. Freight Pilot may receive limited subscription, invoice, payment status, discount, and billing-contact information needed to operate the service and provide support.
Cancellation, Refunds, And Discounts
Freight Pilot subscriptions have no long-term contract and no cancellation fee unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. You may cancel anytime through the billing flow or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period. Refund requests are reviewed case by case and are not guaranteed unless required by law. Freight Pilot may offer discounts, including military and first-responder discounts, subject to verification by support.
Enforcement
We may reject, remove, delete, restrict, or suspend access to data or accounts that we believe may violate these terms, third-party rights, third-party platform rules, security requirements, or applicable law. We may also cooperate with credible rights-holder, platform, legal, or security requests when appropriate.
Availability
We work to keep Freight Pilot reliable, but the service may be interrupted, delayed, changed, or unavailable at times. Freight Pilot is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, or fitness for a specific dispatch or business outcome.
